First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion Group

The children have recently planted daffodil bulbs as examples of plant life that just grows where the seed is placed.

May I thank all those who have helped with the First Holy Communion programme and for the celebration of First Communion itself.

On Saturday 25th April, some of our First Communion children took part in a movement workshop lead by dance teacher and parishioner, Maria.

We will be using the book 'I Belong' As we go through each chapter we will look at our life experience, read a story from the Old and New Testament, learn about and prepare to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist and encourage the children to share what they have learned with their families. Watch this space as we begin this important spiritual journey.
